Hi

I am new around here.

I can undestand a bit of italian, as i am portuguese.

I prefeer to write in english because i cannot do it in your language properly, so i hope that is not an inconvenient to you.

I own a Ibiza that started to smoke a lot and with strange vibreation and lack of power between 1500 and 2100 at high throtle load...

I did read the ECU and tryed to modify it a bit, and now seems a bit better, but not quite good... Maybe it is some sensor that is giving wrong info, or something like that.

As i am new at this remapping thing and i know here are some of the best remapers around, please take a look at my .ori file to check if there is some thing bad with it and i send you also two of my mods to that car... please comment it and let me know if i am too way wrong with it, and aproximately how many extra hp it gives in each one (if it really is effective)

Other doubt i have is that as i've seen, there is always more than one map in each car... Wich one is to modify? For example for ibiza, there are 6 injection maps... Why?

well... I am learning , and i dont believe it is so simple as putting more diesel and more turbo , to have more power... i belive that it is a bit like that , but in exact dosis and with more parameters regulated also...

Is not good idea to solve trubles modifing the Ecu calibration.

Try to understand the real origin first.

and learn to attach files!!!

I suggest you to try to replace the MAF, the symptoms you described (like the lack in power) may indicate your MAF is gone...
